I have a fascination with modern human life: the sense of identity, cultural conflicts, degeneration and loss of spirituality. As a result I have a tendency to work with fragments. Found materials; broken items; small incongruous objects or images that when combined together make sense or tell a story as a whole.
I am drawn towards the beauty of the overlooked such as deteriorating or abandoned spaces or objects that have fallen into disrepair, that are being reclaimed by nature. I wish to create worlds filled with the beauty of deterioration that the viewer may interact and enclose themselves in.
